I'll hopefully have mine up tomorrow sometime. I'm currently applying the color now. I am pretty excited about this one. Here is a suprise....I'm not using Tamiya color! I do want to use the Tamiya gloss/clearcoat though, I hope the different brands don't react wrong to each other. This one will be bling blinging if all works out well.

I'd test it on a spare piece of plastic before risking your paintjob... I've had bad experiences with enamels bubbling and wrinkling when a laquer is applied over top...

Still working on the bearings.
I opted to use the clear coat supplied with the color paint. It is a 3 step process, so I used the one I was supposed to. It is not as smooth or glossy as Tamiya, but at least I will not screw up the effect of the color.

Finally! You are not using Tamiya paints! What brand are you using? I bet this will come out great.

I regret to inform you that this body didn't make it out alive. I was using Dupli Color. I got caught up in something else while it was drying, and I waited too long to remove the masking, and it removed large portions of paint on the body. Needless to say, I was a bit upset and lost my temper. The rest is history...
Even BC screws up from time to time.

Hard to hear that Bad Company. Everyone loses their temper, I have destroyed a couple of zip zap bodies when I was angry. Oh well I guess you learn from your mistakes. I know I do.

I guess I will post this here in place of my failed attempt. It's not much to look at right now, but that's not really counts, right? (I know that sounds funny coming from me.) As you have probably seen before, it packs 7.2v of power.

Hmmm....are those decals going to fit perfectly on the supra, because it does say 1/24th scale. If it doesnt fit then its a waste of money. But for $20, I'd use that money for something else. Decals to me arent that important.
