4 Cell Pack

I purchased the 4 cell Ni-MH pack from tiny rc recently, and last night I finally installed it. I was just wondering if there was anything special that needed to be done to the charger in order to charge the new pack, or can I use it the same way as before? Also, I would like to know if there are any rules to charging the cells, such as storing the car charged or draining the pack then putting the car up for the night. Thanks in advance for any help I recieve.

I think you can use the standard pack, BUT I do not. I believe you just need to hit the charge button twice.

As far as rules of charging. NiMh cells don't like heat, so try not to overcharge them. And, yes I would reccomend draining them before letting them sit. If it's only one night or less than 24hrs I wouldn't worry so much. If it's been 2 or 3+ days then I would suggest draining them before storing them.

Thanks for the info gertman. Also, could you explain what you use to charge your epoch?

defto, personally I use a 1-14 cell peak charger; I cut the plug off of the stock charger, and now I use it on my big charger. I use this one for everything, because it can do 1-14 cells, at 0.1-4A. If you have other RCs, you may want to consider investing in a nice charger; if you only have the Epoch, it's probably not worth it.

tinyrc, I do plan on getting more rc's, so could you point me in the right direction for getting a good charger?
