Problems charging digi-q tanks

Hi, Ive got a couple of digi-q tanks which Im having trouble charging and wonder if anyone else has had this problem.

Ive followed the correct sequence - tanks off charger set to charge insert tank switch controller on but instead of a constant CH in the display both tanks have a flashing CH and busy light.

Im using alkaline batteries so that shouldnt be an issue and everything seems normal with the controller apart from this, any ideas?

Thanks

I have had the same thing happen. If you are following proper sequence, then i would check to be sure the tank batteries are drained. Then check and be sure the charge connectors are clean. Then be VERY sure the batteries in the controller are new and fresh. I have found when charging is a problem it has usually turned out to be some bad batteries in the controller. Not sure if this will help at all. But so far mine have always charged back up. And also it seems if they sit for a while, it takes a few cycles for the batteries to take a good full charge. Iam not an expert by any means, and others may pitch in some more help. There are also other boards that are more active than this one you may try to post on.. Good luck and please post your results for those of us that do still pop in here once in a while.
