Better and Awesomer Suspension
I recently saw this suspension on ebay where some guy had made it where the shocks and the dampers went across instead of down. So i decided to try it out by making my own. It is AWESOME!!! my car clears turns better and easier without clipping on things it usually clips on. Also i lost weight because i took of a spring and a damper (not much but weight is weight) i'll post a pic in a minute. If you want to know how to do it all you have to do is sand down a plastic damper where you put a screw in, then sand the little bump on the one with the pole, then glue them together (make sure you sand good otherwise you won't turn as well as you could. Then sand just a little bit off of the pole and just a little bit more off of the connecting thing it goes in. Its kind of hard to explain but if you look at the picture you'll be able to see what i mean (i hope).

Here is a better picture. Also note this type of suspension can only be used on the back, i've already tried the front and it won't work

yah actualy people here have already done that. its called a mono shock mod. glad to see it works for you. the easiest way to do it is take 2 top shock pices trim them down and use the spring to hold them together.

On mine I did something like that, but my shocks are still in the original position. I just made a bar to attach at the screw points to tie the rear arms together. This way as it goes into a turn the inside tire lays down it pushes the outside tire down so it tracks better. Very much the same as that part you can get from CXP (Custom Xmods Parts) that look's like a dogbone with two holes in it.
