micro rs4 engine in xmod

i believe(im not saying that im correct) that it is def possible to take a stock micro rs4 engine and put it in a xmod. both engines look exactlty the same size to me and i have both cars fully stock so i could see it in real life. i THINK all u have to do is just take the connection on the xmod mod motor rip it off and soler it onto the micro rs4 motor and then thats it. again this has not been tested by me im just saying and making a theory. hope it helps

The Micro RS4 motor is a 180 size motor-it is much longer that the XMOD motors. It won't fit without some quick dremeling. It could be done, though.

I've got a Micro RS4 motor sitting next to me, they are way different. They don't fit in the motor mount and they are too long. What would you dremel out? There's all kinds of electronics at the end of the motor.

Micro RS4's can run on AA or AAA batteries so the motor can run on either. That is not the problem. The motor itself is larger like everyone mentioned earlier. You may be better off trying a 130 size motor designed for a mini-z or similar car. You guys must be running these cars outdoors or in an extremely large room like a gym. I have a 25' x 12' area to run in my basement and the original stage 1 motor is more than fast enough for me.
