CF chassis question

i was wondering if the stock electronics could be used on the Pro Mod chassis?

will my handling increase any with the pro stock chassis?

are the edges sealed so that they wont come apart?

Pro mod chassis is designed for hobby grade electronics. There is really no point in going to it otherwise.

Looking at the mods you have to do to the chassis I don't see how you can use stock electronics.

STOCK

STOCk Modified Pro

The metal you see is the heatsink for the stock electronics. When you remove the small peice of carbon fiber that the back screws for the heatsink are atttached to how are you going to make room for the stock electronics?

I think I understand the question as use stock electronics with the Pro Mod chassis and batteries laid flat...........

No, the batteries won't fit flat with the stock electronics.

The only difference in the main chassis plate between stock and mod is the removal of the battery slot cross pieces on the chassis.

I know of no manufacturer of RC Carbon Fiber chassis's that seals the edges before shipment. This is left to the racer as some bevel or file before sealing with CA.

The stock kit uses the stock electronics and battery holders. It will look just like a stock X-Mod, except the chassis components are now CF.

Check the Main thread and the pics should clarify
