Thumbs up Tie Rods

First thing broken, and no replacements at the hobby shop, so i looked around my MGT spare box and found a piece of brass stock (slightly thicker than the tie rod material) i layed out the original rod on the brass cut it with scissors, and made some 00 (?) holes, and its working perfect

OH YEAh

you can also make adjustable "toe in" rods, get a caliper and adjust accordingly, cause your measuring in sections of millimeters

The down side to zip-ties is that if you push on the front end, the suspension is a bit stiffer (even with the screws a little loose). But, now when it hits bumps, the front end seems to absorb the hit better and stays on the ground.

I have a friend that is going to try "feeler gauge" (very thin metal).

Has anyone found something that works better?

I thought that the susspension on the front was too hard when i got my micro dt, so i took some spare helicopter parts and made some ball linkages, fully adjustable toe in/out, no resistance on the shock, but am looking into oil shocks
