Steering Link Fix

I kept breaking the steering links. I also noticed that thread-lock "eats" the links. I made my own from tiny zip-ties and now they don't break.

The down side is that if you push on the front end, the suspension is a bit stiffer (even with the screws a little loose). But, now when it hits bumps, the front end seems to absorb the hit better and stays on the ground.

I have a friend that is going to try "feeler gauge" (very thin metal).
Has anyone found something that works better?

Lexan is your friend, you can get a lexan wing for a buggy or stadium truck from your LHS pretty cheap, and make tons of them, just score with a knife, and when you flex, it will break clean and make perfect lines.
