Anyone having trouble finding race mates?

I guess it's that it hasn't hit that big here yet, or atleast I haven't found where they're hiding it...but, I'm having trouble finding people that have cars. I keep getting more of my personal friends involved...but they are not always as eager as I am to mod. Plus, I think I spend about $300 a week on cars and mods now! haha

oh yea...

My initial reason to post was:

a) anyone live close to me who needs a race partner, or just someone to kick their butt.
b) maybe some organized race clubs should be in effect. are there any in your area? tell us about them.

maybe $300 was a bit of an exaggeration, but I'm definitely in the triple digits. However, I'm not so proud of this.

Another month of this and I'm going to have to move back home with my parents.

Yea, it's most definitely an addiction. And, aero...it's true these are cheap but I'm trying to stock up on overseas frequencies and I keep pushing my mods to the limit and melting something or breaking off an important piece, etc.

I just bought Nissan Fairlady and the Loctite Zexel last night. So, there's another $75 (give or take, s/h, etc.) to add to my tally. Plus, I ordered some parts from tiny for another $25. It adds up too quick!

Anyway, did anyone have any clubs they are in that they wanted to promote? or, has this thread already been introduced?

L.A. Area

Yeah, I've been spending an average of $50 a week on new cars, batteries, covers, stuff on eBay.... yeah I'm addicted too. We plat bit soccer at work... but I'm wondering if there are any other L.A. or O.C. (orange county) folks willing to start up some club or race meets.

or even a bit char-g race crew where at least one of our cars sport a certain signature mark so that when we post our car pics... we're associated to that crew.
