Exclamation Personal Signature Area Size Look here If you don`t know what size it should be :)

Ok, it seems most of the people here are limiting their use in this area. But here is a referance in the size that (MAXIUM) SHOULD BE USED!

*******************

USE ONLY THIS (MAXIUM) AMOUNT OF SPACE IN YOUR Personal Signature Area.

Lets keep this place clean and Simple
Thank you

i also suggest EVERYONE to use SIZE1 font scale...or smaller, if there even is a size
its still readable and less clutter.

for those who dont know how,
press the "SIZE" drop down menu, and type what phrase or word etc that you want, copy that info, and paste in your sig...done.

Thank you thats a good point, and one more thing. Please don`t use too many special icons that tiny has for us. Too many just makes things even more unreadable.

limiting the number of pictures was also part of my suggestion in using qfm's icons in signatures. the reasoning behind this were were to have the icons replace long strings of text explaining everyones setups making it easier to read the posts.
the problem arises when you have people doing both. it can easily get to the point where the sig's are dominating the posts rather than the information, it becomes distracting.
apparently leaving users to police themselves will only work for a percentage of the total users. i'd hate to see a great feature go down the tubes because some can't seem to use forethought.

ok... i want to size down the font of my sig, but I can't find the "SIZE" drop down menu...is it on the forum?

edit: n/m figured it out

for the curious: add 'SIZE=1' inside [] before the sig and '/SIZE' inside [] after the sig.

Is mine appropriate?
Is it too big?

i think it is very important. i cant stand it when the sig is longer than the post, also when someone has a long sig and doesnt turn it off when its the second, third or fourth time they have posted in the same thread, but i like vb, it puts a small <hr> before the sig....

Question

The problem with most folks with huge sigs is that the sig ends up being more interesting than anything they actually have to say.

Test the theory, go look!
