Yes the lower suspension plate is a separate piece that can be replaced if damaged. This keeps you from having to buy a new chassis when/if you break the lower front suspension.

The mod upgrade is available at the Shop In Ultra-Limited Quantities right now. Course you need to own the stock to upgrade to the Mod. Limited quantities of the Stock Chassis are also AVAILBLE RIGHT NOW IN THE SHOP. Check with David.

after looking at the bottom side pic, i noticed that the drive gear in the front is visable. don't you think rocks and stuff could break it especial off roading.

yeah, I cut another piece of fiber from my other chassis and covered it up. But it would not be a problem for anyone who doesn/t have an AWD

Yep, this was discussed earlier. Clear tape or some thin plastic can also be used. The cut-out had to be there to clear the front diff gear.

ok i thought you guys would of had the CF bend to fit the gear. the price is just overwhelming now. i would buy it but there is other things i got to take care of first.
