Yes it drives. The body sits a hair lower than the chassis.
It just have to be a very flat surface (hardwood floor). The early test runs have been short because I don't have a place large and flat enough in my house, and my neighbor moved so I can no longer use his as a test facility. I'm not using it on the sidewalks, alleyways in my neighberhood and the tennis court is too far away.
Luckily I'll be at the in-laws this weekend and they have loads of hardwood floors and a rather smooth driveway to run on. Plus I think my nephew will be in town so I can see his eyes pop and jaw drop. I'll have to remember to take loads of ZipZaps and my SSMT's to keep his hands off the 57.
