How far away can i be from a 350z to be able to use it?

Hi, this is Jeff again. I was wondering what the range of the 350z is. Is it as good as the Shen qi wei skyline(45ft.) (Hint...I am still being aloud by my company(nascar) to give away the new 2004 nascar parts.) If you can help me out i will send you them!

Thanks ALOT,
Jeff Gordon Jr.(Jemac)

Yea, BCG range sucks. I had to mod mine to get over 50 feet. Yes, aalock, you can see it that far away.

Can I have the nose from your car today jeff? lol A shen would get better range because.. 1. Teliscopic antenna & 2. No crippler caps. Also shens are cheaper, more availible & you can worry less about breaking it or getting the car stolen.

Yeah, the Shen's do have better range, but what the hell is the point of drivin' a car that's 50 feet away from you? And even if you did care THAT much about range (Since you only need about 8-10 feet to drive on most tracks) you could just mod your Bit to hell... I also personally think that the 350z would be a better choice because it has more speed possibilities, thanks to boost, and also more availability for different kinds of tracks (Ex: rally would be using boost for climbing hills, etc, and non-boost for manuevering, and it would be nice on normal tracks for the boost for straights, but non-boost for turns...). Just tryin' to help...

Basically he just said non-boost is good for stuff like pit roads, turns, martinsville & road courses. Boost is good for straits.

Well, first off, a mod is any change you make on or in a BCG or clone that changes it somehow, for better or for worse. Okay, somethings you could do to increase you range is to make the antenna on the car longer by getting Cat5 wire and making a new one. You can also remove the capaciator form the controller and give the controller a longer teloscopic antenna. You could also remove the capaiciator from the car microchip, but it is really hard. There are others, those are the only ones I can think of off of the top of my head. To find out more mods, go to www.questformadness.com, they have many.

In short, be nice to me (it may be hard though through all of my annoyance). Thanks pal!

question 1: what frequency is the 350z?

question 2: what frequency is the shen?

ive seen several of most frequencies heres my findings
27mhz = 5-10feet
35mhz = 7-12feet
---------heres the jump----------
45mhz = 15-20feet(with antenna tucked under body)
49mhz = ****
57mhz = maybe a few more feet than 45 or 49

the easiest way to get better range would be to transplant the board from the shen to the bit. if you dont wana do that then id mod the transmitter not the car. a 3rd aa in series should double range. also a bigger antenna on the transmitter will help a lot.

Not true, dude. I had a 57mhz 350z had crap range. (like 12 feet) I did a dual antenna mod on the Tx. It helped.

I've had best luck with 49mhz. Though my 45 is a bit better for some reason. For the most part though, 49 has been my sweet spot.

you can also increase the range by powering the controller with an addition battery.........

JEMAC if you are asking for a 350Z I can buy you a red one! That is as long as you pay store price and give me something like NASCAR parts whatever they may be!
