Well I did it again.
Since I swaped my microsizer PCB into my zip I had a micro staring at me mocking me. So armed with my trusty soldering iron a little ambition and a cheap clone from Wal-Mart I got to work.
Upon opening the clone I noticed something strange, Only 1 of each steering wire attached to the clone PCB (bits and Zips have 4) but otherwise everything else was the same, made the needed board chart (for rewireing purposes) and got to work removing the PCB (and the stupid LED) reinstalled the clone PCB into the Micro attaching 4 steering wires as was origanly done in the Micro and reversing the motor wires because the controls were reversed from the micro controler. reinstalled the batt. and BAM Microsizer works perfectly. And now I have some parts from the clone to harvest. What about the steering wires you say!
Well I was curious too so while harvesting parts opened the steering cover and there it was 1 steering coil on the steering and 2 magnets in the chassis. So I was able to harvest
2 steering magnets
1 steering Spring
2 steering Knuckles
1 Steering adjuster (alignment)
2 frt wheels (rears are too big for the bit)
1 Motor
1 main steering rod
4 tires
1 PCB cover (will fit on bits or MS)
1 Mustang Body
and an assortment of wires
Totally satisfied.
