Talking Temp 7.2 battery mod

Here is the battery mod that will turn your 4.8v battery pack into a 7.2 (can be reversed at any time)

If you try this mod and you fry something don't blame me. The only reason that I am posting this is because I did this mod to all of my cars , and it worked fine.

1 get some clear plastic (about an inch scare)

2 get two pieces of battery wire (about four inches long each)

3 get three flat pieces of metal (i canabolized an aaa battery holder and used the battery contacts, one that will connect both batteries at the same time ( and two (one each) for the other side of the batteries.

4 get some tape to temporarily hold the batteries in place with the metal contacts. (just like any othe battery pack)

5 cut the plastic so that the end is the same shape as a aaa battery (cut the lenth of the plastic the same width)

6 get some crazy glue and glue the wire to one side of the plastic (make sure that the exposed wire is only on one side of the plastic or you will short the whole thing out)

7 Do the same thing for the other wire (again , be careful not to let the wires touch each other)

8 Make sure that you know which lead is positive and which is negative (positive always goes toward the car, negative goes away from the car.

9 open your battery holder by removeing the clip (don't remove the cover, just let it be loose)

10 Get a small pointed tool and push the last battery(the one closest to the rear wheel) away from it's contact )only about 1/4 inch.

11 With the positive wire faceing toward the car (making contact with the battery) and the negative wire faceing away from the car (makeing contact with the spring contact of the battery holder) insert the plastic into the space and push the battery back against it to hold it in place.

12 Now you can close your battery holder and put the pin back in.

13 Get some double sided tape and secure the new battery pack to the to of the esc .

14 Install your body and your done, you now have a modified 7.2v battery pack that is temporary.

If you want to go back to 4.8v, all you have to do is pull the plastic awafrom the battery holder and thats it ( the best thing is , you can re-install the plastic back into the holder at any time, for that extra turbo effect, and beleive me, it will fly.

Be carefull not to turn sharp when you use this mod as you are very likely to flip the car, thats right , FLIP THE CAR, hate to see someone work so hard on something, just to crap-out after five minutes. Hope you like the mod, later for now, DRRfanatic425 out.
