AC to DC Power Adapter Controller Mod
Radio Shack currently has a long-running sale on several of their AC to DC power adapters, and if you can catch them on sale, now is the time to rid yourself of buying AAA batteries LOL - Anyhow, attached are complete instructions on adding a power jack to yer controller (complete with RS part numbers and prices).
Download the attached text file with complete instructions, pics follow in the next posts...

I did this mod before and it's great. I recommend that you do it. But in the controller schematic, you should show if the plug wit the 3 prongs is from the top or bottom.

The schematic shows the rear of the plug, the side with the three solder lugs, (left, top, and right). Also it's described in the text file that I posted.
Yep yep, if you can solder, this mod is great... no more AAA bateries as long as you're near an AC wall outlet -
