Smile almost made up my mind

so I think I'm going to go with the Bit Char-G, but now I'm not sure if I should go with a booster, or not... I've been reading that the range isn't as good, but then you have people like Bitfreak that say they can get 30 to 40 feet by just simply replacing the antenna on the 4 band controller.....any advice on what car to get with the best range would be highly appreciated....

i think thats a good idea. what ive heard is that the boosters dont have very good range, like they stutter when they go beside you! but you can mod them and get good results from what ive heard. go to the uk bit site, they have reviews on them and a pic and stats of every one

Bluff, just to clarify, it's the 4ch that has the range problems, not the booster chassis itself, so the antenna upgrade will not only fix it but give you the best range possible.

thanks for the help guys.... this is a really informative forum... I'm glad I came across it... Does anyone know a good link that shows some pictures of an antenna mod for the remote??? Or any suggestions on what type of antenna to use? Sorry to be such a pain.

Well, for the antenna mod just go back to the QFM page and click #10
