bit char-g bogs like crazy....
Guys my bit char-g bogs like crazy when it goes like just a few feet away from the controller?....think the battery in my controller is already gone or is my POT in the PCB needed to be adjusted better??......

Not sure why, but the same thing happens on my supra. I've found that holding the antennae up helps a bit. Just touch it with your index finger, and hold it up a tiny bit. It works wonders!

i put in some new batteries, but it still bogs at less then 4 feet from the controller...i think i adjusted the POT in the pcb too much....

by any chance did you take out the capacitor?

Capacitor?..Is that the grey looking thing inside the POT?? I did twist it all the way out then put it back in. And tried to adjust it better...It only got a little better.

Its this thing inside the control. it was put on newer models, im not sure which but ive seen em on the xanavi and castrol cars. QFM has more info you can look at to help you out.

oh i know what your talking about now...i opened my controller and i dont have that thing installed i guess i got the older verison then...

you may have turned the POT too much, cause your only suppose to turn it a little bit at a time.
try drilling a little hole in the front of the car near the windsheild and pull the antenna out of there. so it looks like a real cars antenna, this way you get more length, and i'm sure you'll get better range.
so try turning your POT back to the original position and then turning it bit by bit.
