Motor Info, PLEASE?!

W'sup, Im Bob, And Im Lookin For Answers.

1. We got this kid at school, who thinks his car is "all that and a bag of potato chips" (yeah, I know how old that is). He has what he calls "NoS", named after the stuff seen in The Fast And The Furious, is what I'm guessing (Dont worry, I know there's NoS in reality). Well, anyway, he's got this button on the back of his TOMY BC-G and it makes him accelerate like a crazy mother, I just wanna know what it is, and if its better than the TinyRC R-Type, any help would be useful...

2. Look, right now, in about 2 days, I will have a choice to have either a TOMY BC-G, OR, a Hibbico(TOMY) Microsizer, I know that they are the same, but tell me which one YOU'D buy, due to experience or known info.

3. I have this RC that's called a Cannonball, it came with a 2.2 but for some reason, the damned thing keeps drifting right, and cant turn left, and even when I do get it to go straight (Tuning On Bottom) it won't make crap for left turns, help me out with that one too...

4. This forum stuff is crazy awesome, I haven't found(or looked) for any other sites with forums for these kick ass RCs, so, thanks to the creator for having these forums, and having this SWEET sight design, Mucho Mucho Props

-Bob

PS: Thx for the help in advance...

He probably has the NOS motor from the zip zap cars. His "button" on his controller is for 2 speed, meaning he goes at half speed without pressing it and full speed when pressing the button. The R-Spec would cream it imo. Bit char-g or microsizer is fine whichever you get, i have bits not microsizers. I have friends with microsizers that don't seem to have any problems.

Motor Info Cont.

Ayte, So Your Sayin They The Exact Same? Who Wins When You And Your Friend Race? Im Still Lookin For More Opinions . Thx

-Bob

PS: Does the two speed one make his OVERALL speed faster? Like, if his engine had only one speed, would the top speed still be the same as with the button? Thx Again

Well...most say it doesn't make a difference, some say there is. In my experience i have tested it on my cars. I put a 3.0 motor in my celica and a 3.0 in my booster car. The booster car seems to be just slightly faster than the unboosted, but thats just me. It may just vary. But i like booster cars a lot better, fun to press boost...

I agree, I like my booster car, it lasts longer on one charge too. Anywho, I would buy a bit because it has the cooler packaging, other than that I dunno, there the same.

Mmkay, right now, im leaning towords purchasing the MicroSizer, just because of the convenience of them being at the mall, and since they are basically the same except for packaging... So, yeah, ill make up my mind, eventually, but thanks for the help so far, ill be waiting for more opinions, Thx

Ok...go to www.toyeast.com (or www.hlj.com if you're willing to wait a while to get your order) and order the automodellista set. Then come back here to Tinyrc.com and order the r-spec motor (it kicks total booty!!). You'll toast anything 2.5 inches in size (other than a ****roach ).

'nuff said.

I've seen some roaches book pretty fast....but I'm not sure that fast...it was actually a lame attempt at a joke.

Of course to race this roach you'd have to be like

"how we doin this tonight?"

"one race, 2 G buy-in, winner takes all"

then the roach comes in and is all like

"I don't have any money, but I do have the pink slip to my [ummm...I guess the roach has a car, maybe at home] car."

then the techie roach comes in and is all like

"whoa whoa whoa, you can't just step into the ring and think you can box"

then some more characters will step in and soon you'll have the LAPD all over your little illegal roach racing operation.
