Lowered Civic...And I show you how...
OK, Here is a way to easily lower a Civic. Keep in mind that the Civic and the Skyline front tabs are basically the same except that the Skyline tab sits lower. They are the same width.
Civic tab on left, Skyline tab on right...

First, you just either use the Skyline chassis (same wheelbase) or put the Skyline front tab on your Civic chassis. Next, remove the rear tab, and cut away from the support the same amount of the difference in the front tab...

This way you keep your full use of your suspension. The only rubbing I get in the front wheels is when I turn real hard and lean on the suspension, but you can probably correct that with hard springs.

Yes, when I paint a car, I don't plan on changing the body parts, other than the hoods. I assemble them and paint together, that way everything looks the same and gets the same amount of paint.

o cuz when i did my cars i took em all apart. reason being i didnt want like the real color of the car to show through the cracks between the bumpers and the car. and i didnt want paint to build up between em eather. both cars came out looking good and all the pieces came out the same color. except i didnt use primer on em. i guess thats why i had to apply like a billion coats. o well
