Noob Mini X question...

Can the Mini X run on regular batteries or does it need NiCad rechargable ones?

The Mini-X can easily run on your standard AAA batteries, alkaline, NiCD, NiMH, Li-Poly...stock it is set up to run from either 4 AAA alkalines or 4 AAA NiMH's.

The Alkaline (normal) batteries will provide a bit more zip (1.5v compared to 1.2v) but they can not be recharged and can make the cost go higher in the long run. Also i have never seen Alakaline battery packs....where everyone has seen 4-6 NiMH battery packs made.

The Mini-X stock electronics has no problem with the 6 AAA NiMH 750MaH pack i made.
