Chassis Configurations
High-Mount Motor Mount: oOn the HM chassis, the motor is mounted
MM chassis/ Mid-ship Motor Mount: On the MM chassis, the motor is mounted mid-ships directly in front of the rear axle. Mass is concentrated in the center and produces good agility and a shorter rear overhang.
RM chassis/ Rear Motor Mount: On the RM chassis, the motor is mounted behind the rear axle. Positioning the C of G at the rear produces high levels of traction. This makes tail control all the more interesting. RML chassis omits the top damper to generate lower chassis height for the RM chassis.
LM chassis/ Mid-shop Low Motor Mount: Latest chassis design is the fastest MINI-Z Racer ever. With the motor mounted 5.5mm lower on the 3L size long wheelbase chassis (compared to the MM motor case), the motor can be positioned much closer to the lateral center. The stability of the chassis has dramatically improved with small diameter wheels, newly designed front knuckles, a 1mm lower chassis and a friction damper now standard.
