Heat sink fastening
One of my new bits either came with a broken rear body mount, or I broke it while doing the initial assembly. It cracked down the middle.
For the body this isn't a problem, but the heat sink for the motor, which presses up against the fastener, flys off when I try to attach it now.
Has anybody else experienced this? What is the best fix? I got the car from Tiny, but since I'm overseas, I thought I'd try fixing it before I ask about warranties.

I would have thought Araldite or any other 2 part epoxy would be strong enough assuming you mix it with slightly more hardener than resin??

Er, I just use a piece of strong paperclip myself. Stick iit in a slot on the bottom, bend it around the back and shove it under the transfer gear axle on the top to keep the heatsink down. If you bend it right you can snap the body over the bend in the back

Is that the only purpose of the heatsink, keeping the motor down? I am asking because I noticed teh K.I.T. sets have 2 or 3 heatsinks in their kit.
