Bend the metal tabs on the original motor out, and remove the armature + shaft. Clip the wires connecting the armature windings to the commutator. Using pliers, adjustable wrench, or something that can form a sort of c-shape, close to the shaft, and keeping the shaft vertical, push the armature down -- it's a press fit on the shaft, and with a little putting, will slide right off. The comm. is on there a little tighter -- you can probably slide it off, or just use something to clip it (wire cutters, something like that. Just don't use a good set).
Make sense?
