very cool car, but like u said usagi, after they release the rtr version would the car be available as just the chassis + body?

like this one click me

because i was wondering, since u have 4 AA batteries i can still use my 1/10 scale rc car esc... and just pick up a servo and motor... would my 1/10 scale electronics work in that car??

Hey good Q`s!
The car should be out any day no in Japan! (I hope)
The RTR will be related first then the "Just Car"But i think the speed control servo will be included with the "CAR ONLY" At this time you can`t mod the car that way. But I think you can in a future date.

Earlier, they told us December, then changed to "Christmas", and with that less than two weeks away, I'm guessing it's now "2003"!

New pics of the Sonic
Covered electronics... Comes with the charger for the special batteries and the Yokomo FM radio like the Puchi Maru... can use Mini-Z bodies... really low CG... soft suspension... really nice and compliant so it will be pretty grippy on most track surfaces... "real" servo... diffuser on the underside... really light weight=fast... due out in the US in a month

Nice pics, Akura2
I might get one when it comes out, but I remain loyal to Kawada Mid24. It is in my opinion, the best 1/28th / 1/24th RC. That's just my personal preference though.
