Project: Bit City

It's been awhile since I got my first Bit, and I still don't have a completed track! So, a month ago I got some bristol board for the base of the track and some foam board for the walls, but my orginal plan was 2X smaller! So, fast forward to Saturday when I redesigned the layout. My original plan was just a race track, but now it's a small city with a track! Yesterday I did the 1st foor of the only 10 storey building in the city. Today I have the track walls 45% done.

P.S. I'm sorry, I have no pictures. My digital camrea is not installed yet.

That has been one of the most wanted layouts ever... In quite a few of the forums, people mentioned how it would be their dream to have a track in a city, maybe have a street-race theme goin' or somethin' like that. But get your pix up ASAP, everyone will prolly be amazed no matter what it looks like, as long as it's a city, and not some farm or something, although, that'd be a pretty crazy idea...

Sadly, so far I've only built 1/2 of a track, a base for the whole city, and the 1st floor of a tower. But, I will tell you what it will have when it's finished: 2 parking lots, 6 stores, 1 apartment building, 1 beach, 1 park, 1 tower, and 1 raceway.

I've measured Bit City and it's size is approximately 35 square-feet. All of Bit City is accessible by Bit: alleys insides of buildings etc.

If you wait, I'll have some videos. Just wait for the track to be finished, and my digi cam to be installed.

How much longer you think it'll take to finish completing the masterpiece of Bit City?! Any estimations?

-Bob

PS: I NEED to know, lol... As you can see, I'm eager...

At the most, I think it will take a month. At the least, it will take two weeks. The raceway in Bit City will be completed by Friday. The tower will probably be comlpted by Monday. The rest isn't started yet so it can't be estimated.

Sorry, I mean the raceway is 75% done. The whole city is far from done.

Yeah, I never knew that the concept of a "Bit City" hadn't been tried before. Progress: The raceway in Bit City is 90% done.
