I just noticed that you can drift if your on a hard surface by just running on the rims. It spins like hell though. Still fun.

well here's what i did.....
first i had stock tires back and soft bit racer front w/ 3.0 motor and blue gears
first drive ur car over a small amount of baby powder...or drive or a dusty floor.. (not too dusty or u'll have no more grip on the back tires and spin out)
now right before you approach a turn ..tap the opposite direction of that turn and quickly hold down the direction of ur turn..by now ur car should be drifting...u have to have a good feel for ur car..when u see it drifting too hard...u have to tap the opposite direction (to create this understeering) so that ur car doesn't spin out...
happy drifting!

sorry. i have no idea where it is. i think it was a japanese commercial for bit char-g. it showed 2 cars running around the table top. and this one shot showed a slow motion of one of the bit go around (i think it was)a pencil holder, and it drifted around it

nothing=no tire at all, you ride the rims? i like that scotch tape idea, since i ordered a 3.0 motor and the gears shelling out for the tires too is something i shoulda done in hindsight...

yeah i do the no tires in the back thing 2 with my 1.0. i am a newb but my car does actual peel outs with no tires(dont no if u care but i think its fun). um this whole tiny rc thing hasnt hit my area really big yet so bear with me until i get some real knowlege of this stuff. just wondering wouldnt the rare earth magnets help with drifting since they are a lot more powerful(not with a superfast motor cause then the car would flip). got some upgrades on the way(for draging mostly 3.8 with rare earth magnets probly wont be good for tracks). um i plan on getting a 2.2 or 2.6 motor when i order some new tires and gears. i love how cheap all this is i can wait to find some people who just got thier cars and try to race them for pink slips(uh u guys really do that right). also is the drift kit worth getting if i get a tire kit and an axel kit then the only thing i wont have is the steering suspension bar thingys. ok well thats all this newbs got right now lata.
