Cool Spinbrush Installation Tutorial

after reading the many threads and questions people have on this spinbrush upgrade i've decided that some people in this world are MORONS. for the rest of you here ya go:

Tools needed for installation:
1. soldering iron
2. claw hammer
3. small flat screw driver

Steps for installation:
1. take your SB and KILL IT! all you need is the motor dont worry about the rest.
2. unscrew motor when you get to it.
3. take your small screw driver and pry out the little tabs on the side of the motor so you can slide the plastic piece off the back and toss it (ya dont need it).
4. do the same to one of your regular xmod motor (do it w/ one your not usin first) break the solder points of the capacitors from the motor (so they're still attached to the plactic end w/ the plug)
5. slide the plastic end on the axel of the SB motor.
6. bend the tabs back down to hold the end on
7. solder the capacitors to the sides of the SB motor
8. take pinion from XMOD motor and hold it in a flame for a couple mins. (the heat will expand the brass pinion and not the aluminium shaft)
9. WHILE STILL HOT place motor in claw hammer (so claw is between pinion and motor)
10. GENTLY tap MOTOR (to not mangle teeth on the pinion)
11. line up pinion to the shaft of the SB motor and WHILE HOLDING MOTOR VERTICLE GENTLY tap the motor on the shaft (be sure to not press it all the way against the motor so it will spin freely)
12. BREAK IN! (very important step or your motor can destroy itself)
a. use water dipping method if ya know what it is
b. water dipping:
connect your motor to a power source (battery)
fill a platic cup about 1/2 way w/ water and place motor PINION DOWN so the wires are not in the water (can short out or burn up your motor)
let it spin for about 20-30 mins in the water then dry off completely
13. mount in car and watch your tires go crazy!

Comments:
1. spin brush motor works great (lots of torque)
a. less teeth on pinion = faster accel. (good for driftin)
b. more teeth on pinion = higher top end. (damn fast w/ SB)
2. CHARGE YOUR BATTERIES!
