Springs Above & Below
OK, I'm away from my cars at the moment, but I had an idea that might give a smoother running suspension.
Instead of just installing springs above the front wheel assembly (see the mod at QFM), put a small section of spring below the assembly as well, so there's cushion on both sides of the travel.
Comments ? (I can't wait to try it out and see if it works!)

Ooo, yeah, sounds good; keep in mind that this would also lower the car, right?

Sounds good, but I had a nightmare just fitting the normal springs!!

thats exactly where i was saying about the spacers be put...the lower part.

Actually, lowering the chassis was part of the point (just so long as you still have enough clearance so nothing drags). I think this would be a good mod to combine with the big tires up front mod.
However, the dynamic tension between the two sets of springs should also make a more stable ride.
