You mean they spin enough to drag the nut with them and unscrew it? I guess the ones on the right side could do that; there's a margin of functionality - I think your problem is that you overtightened the nut, so it was getting too much friction from the spinning of the wheel, but if you loosen it too much, centrifugal force could induce the same effect.
Just got to stay within that margin there.

on my car when i don't use spacers, i can tight them down all teh way nice and tight and it will still spin freely.

Ah.
Well I guess that's not too bad of an idea, then. Although you'd have to re-apply it every time you changed the wheels for any reason. And you'd have to clean the threads out once in a while, so none of the glue solidified and stuck too badly. Overall a good fix I suppose.

I put them too tight, they wheels won't spin.
I put it loose it spins off.

try loctite, it's meant to keep screws and stuff from spinning loose
