Shorten MA010 Chassis?

I was wondering if I could shorten the MA010 chassis to fit slightly smaller Mini Z Bodies. I tried to see if it was remotely possible, and it is; however, the driveshaft is a tad long. Is there a way of doing it? Or am I just wasting my time and money in trying to figure out how to fit my RX7 and Corolla bodies onto my MA010. Thanks.

there is a thread covering this topic already. i posted to it awhile back, which this post reminded me of as i wanted to do this as well.

wahts needed:
shorten a chassis or make your own
shorten the drive shaft

the driveshaft is the easiest part. all you need to do is cut the shaft and notch the end again for the gear.

Sorry for the late response, but how short should I make the driveshaft? I don't want to overdo it and have to buy another driveshaft. I wanted to fit my palm runner body onto my mini z chassis. Thanks.
