Red face Testors Enamel Spray Leaves Wrinkles

Well, here is how i painted this body. (Sorry, no pictures. Sis is the only one with a digital camera/camera phone, and she aint home) Since I am new to this painting thing, please dont make fun of the nubiness

Well, my final project ended up with wrinkles and little bumps and uglyiness (I'll take a picture once I can get a camera). Can I just sand that down and just respray? Also, are those errors made from my sanding, or spray techniques, or something else. Thanks for reading.

What I used :
Testors Spray Enamel (Silver)
200, 600, 800 Grit Sand Paper
Xacto Knife
Masking tape

Also, It'd be cool if someone had any information on when to use a certain grit sand paper. Thanks again.

didnt sand enough or too much.
didnt use primer
sprayed 1 thick coat not many thin ones.
maybe if u sprayed clearcoat on they wouldnt show as much either.

thats all i think it could be and good luck.....cant wait for my new speed set and painting/modelling supplies for 30 bucks. hope it turns out good for both of us.
