TinyRC's Bearings For XMODS.
I will soon be receiving a couple sets of bearings to try out that TinyRC will soon be offering in the TinyRC Shop. They are one set of the Premium Dry Bearings and one set of the more budget minded Enduro Bearings.
These are the same bearings they offer for the Mini-Z and have been verified to be the same size as the Radio Shack bearings by their size listing (not actual side by side comparison).
Keep your eyes out for more info and for them to be available in the TinyRC Shop!

Bad Company do you have any idea how much they will cost and how many will come in a package?

Cool that tiny hooked you up. I would love it if tiny would carry a bearings kit for the xmod, seeing as most of the mini z kits have 2 sizes. I still haven't gotten bearings for my car (don't like the RS bearings). I was thinking of ordering a couple of those bearings off of rcmart, but I would love to throw some of my cash tiny's way instead.

based on the prices for those bearing on the mini-zracer store, they will most likely cost more then the RS bearings.

yeah, i'm not sure many in the xmod crowd would go for that.
rather than the super-duper, ultra performing, my dad is bigger than your dad, mzr dry bearings, how about some plain metal sealed ball bearings at a reasonable price? that, i think would attract a lot of people.

Well I'd be up for a set. I already got the RS ones but I would LOVE to have some sealed bearings as I'll be playing with this mostly outside!
Please keep us up to date BC... as I know you will

cool!
i don't have any experience with xmods however i am quite experienced with mini-z's. mini-zracer dry bearings are among the best bearings available! infact, there is only one company that has a competitive product an that is squat, which are much more expensive. i have no doubt that the dry bearings being made available for the xmod will be far superior to those of rs. they do not require any lubricating and are practically maintainence free. correct me if i'm wrong but i do believe they are sealed. i have run many sets outdoors in my overlands for months without any problems.

OK, Here is the deal....
The bearings ARE sealed! (Steel Sheild for minimum friction)
The Enduro Bearing Set will go for less than Radioshack's set (for a much higher quality bearing at that).
The Premium Dry Bearing Set will go for under $30.
Both sets include (14) 6mm X 3mm bearings.
