The Carbon fiber look
I was playing with some design ideas last night and tried some on my rx7. One was carbon fiber looking paint for the hood so i mixed some Testors silver gloss with Testors gloss black and i did two parts black one part silver and it not only lookes carbon fiberish but it looks kinda scale too. You may want less black and im sure it would work but it looks cool.

yea places sell stickers but he was talkin about scale size...on most of the stickers the carbon fiber look isn't scale size...on real carbon fiber hoods the pattern is really small...well on some of the stickers u see...it looks like a big checkerboard

I ordered a sheet of 1/24th scale Regular and Gold carbonfiber decals. It was the smallest i could find. That gold carbon fiber (silver is replaced with gold) should be interesting. I'll have to find a use for it. Maybe I'll make a pimpin carbon fiber hood on my prepainted body.

Reminds me of a metal flake Tony Stewart car they sold at Home Depot. The metal flakes were too big (they would have been perfect metal flakes for his real car)
