Can CF driveshaft fry my electronics?

Well its that simple can it fry them or not i did to know ASAP so i can order one for my truck, thanx in advance.

it shouldn't. it never touches the esc/pcb so your electronics sould never fry with the drive shaft.

no thats not what i meant can it fry it like a regular driveshaft, in other words does carbon fiber conduct electricity?

I would say yes, though i am not sure. most spark plug wires in 1:1 cars use carbon fibers to conduct instead of metal to cut down on EMI.

yeah it does.
but it dosnt touch the PCB anyway.
or if it did there shouldnt be no source that touches the driveshaft anyway.
unless u find a battery aough it w/ one end then touch the other end onto ur L2 inducters...
but i dont htink any one's that DUMB.

AHH man,i really wanted one so that i could make my truck 4wd. but oh well thanx 4 tha info the reason i asked is my very first car a skyline the driveshaft touched the board somehow and poof it was fried .thanx 4 your help.

maybe you touched the anntena wire to the batts. if the DS touched the pcb and nothing else then it never fried the electronics.

The CF driveshaft is much less likely to short out anything on the board. It is somewhat conductive, but not nearly as conductive as the metal one. I think that the driveshaft shorting out the board is the root cause of "XMod spontaneous combustion" that some people have experienced.
