Found some nice wheels for wheel mods.

I just found these at Target. They are the DUB City Import Racer Cars. They are bigger than the original DUB wheels. They are 2 piece with a removable disc brake behind them.

Here are the 4 colors I bought. They are all the same style, but different colors. They also had all red and all white. You can mount these with or without the disc brakes. They are only slightly larger than the Zip wheels and tires (Compare in pic.). They also came with some cool spoilers.

Here is a pic of the civic with the wheels installed. They fit perfectly in the wheel wells without having to shave the fenders, but I'm sure other bodies will require shaving the fenders. Again, you can choose not to have the disc brakes behind them if you want.

Here is an even better car for these wheels. This just might be my new favorite car in my collection.

The cars were around $2.50 each. As far as mounting them, you have to drill out the wheels for the front and run the existing pins thru to the knuckles. You drill the rear out , add a spacer on the non-driven side, and super glue them to the existing rear axle.

Thumbs up

Oh wow, check those out!

The wheels are cool, but the disk brake thing looks awsome!
Neato!
I'll be looking out for these, to be sure!

Question:
How big are the axle holes, bigger smaller or the same as a Zip/MS/Clone?

The holes are slightly smaller. You have to drill them out just a bit. I use a hand held exacto drill tool.

Actually i am away from my bits (other scales have my attention), but this might make me dust them up and mod some more.
