I suggest a 3.0 or 3.8 motor with soft front tires and har rear tires
try getting a drift set, too if you want. I think you may be able to them here at tinyrc

u just wanna do donuts?
3.0+ with hard tires.....i have custom made treaded rubber tires from a Muscle Mashine...they work somewhat on tile...u kinda have to find the perfect surface
there is a trick to drifting around a hairpin that i have learned...you kinda have to do alot of tapping of the gas when u turn...its a strange process...but u do get faster with practice

for drifting hairpins this is my setup:
-hard red stablizer
-Orange gears
-blue hard back tires
-red soft (purple medium if its really slippery or dusty) fronts
-2.2 or 2.6 (depends on track)
yeh..it works pretty good. I have been using that setup on my track i made out of pennies...its real technical and curvy...fun stuff.
