SB mod
Just got done with my spinbrush mod, though I dont have a working car ( ). But it seems to go much faster! The old magnets are about 3 times weaker than the spinbrush ones, which seem to be pretty promising (it better be! I screwed up a stage 1 blue, and a stage 2 yellow making it ) So now i have 2 extra sets of weak magnets and clips (if you need them, you can have them). How much does this mod help out? I can't wait to try it out!!!

Ok, took another SB motor, put an xmod cap on the end, drilled a hole in the top, and replaced the armature with one from some toy that i modded and had lying around, this thing can SPIN!! (if you drill a hole in the top of a motor, make sure you file out the hole, i had problems with metal scraping the armature (the sb one) which is ruined now). Just need a pinion for it.
EDIT: oh yeah! forgot to ask, are neo mags better than SB mags?

They accelerate and stop much better, I have a red stage 2 with sb mags and it flys. I believe the neo mags are more powerful.
Make sure you break in the motor before you put it in

Umm, never broke one in before, but the sb motor was used. How do i break it in, and what will happen if i dont?
EDIT: Ok, i dipped the motor which i drilled first to break it in, and it cleaned it out ( there were tiny metal bits all over the sides of the glass, which i thought i had gotten out) and lubed it with a tiny bit of grease from the AWD kit ( I wonder when it will catch fire) and it seemed to help it significantly. Performed this on my red stage 2 with SB magnets and it no longer "chattered" when at full throttle which it did before. No way to check speed or anything untill i get a car . Oh, and I plan to buy a BB endbell, a BB case, and neomags for my motor. What are some good brushes for it and where can i find them? Pretty soon i'll be winding my own and ready for the track.
