The Spy makes the X-FRAME run like a bat out of .........I guess the M-bb helps a little. Spun the tires off in the corners and NEVER flipped the beast. Laid flat batteries!

Tomorrow I'll have the time to add an AWD, Bearings and shock upgrade. Now if only somebody would come up with some better diffs...................
BTW, the rear battery plate hold down was modified so that I can use Model Power Peugeot 206 shells. That will really be nice tomorrow with the AWD kit installed. A rally 4WD racer!!!!!!!
Mini-z'rs have dreamed of that for a while

Novak Micro Electronic Speed Control with F-B-R, made especially for micro's and can be used on most mini's. Like putting a Turbocharger in, it pumps juice like only a real ESC can. But it cost's more than the X itself. If you wanna play you gotta pay.....

The first 3 mod upgrade kits in the shop have an 00-80 screw included so that you can make the drive nub for the stock tie rod. This works with the HS-55 servo and the long narrow double ended plate, use the hole that is the furthest out from the center, trim the opposite end flush with the center hub. Thread the screw gently into the hole and secure with a drop of CA. place a little heat shrink over the screw and test the fit. Trim the screw length until it clears the right suspension mount.
The speed and control of the HS-55 is truly race worthy. the throw is so long that you must trim back the EPA and adjust the dual rate down, otherwise the tie rod will come out of the servo plate! This translates into faster steering and very tight steering radiuses. Can't wait to try it on the AWD tomorrow. This should make the Mini-Zer's more than just a little, dare I even say it, scared. I love my Mini-Z's, but an AWD that the rally Z shells fit? That is really what we wanted all along. Time will tell.
New pics up with the SPY esc fit on the mod chassis.
PDF Instructions/Drawing up at the site as well as the Excel files.

PDF files are now available at ZERO-PPRODUCTS.COM It's under the news release for the chassis, front page. Or here:
Instructions
Drawing
The file clarity leaves a lot to be desired, but it is readable

Had a ball this afternoon running the Peugeot 206 Rally with MZR M-BB motor-8 tooth, AWD, bearings, suspension kit, SPY ESC, HS-55 servo, Laid flat battery pack, and of course, the X-FRAME PRO MOD chassis.
4WD drifts on concrete!! Stable and fast. The 206 ran better than it ever did on a Mini-Z chassis. If it's posted here then you know why
