i donno..
in fact the only insight i can give on this subject is that when i remove the pins i grab the head of the pin with needle nose pliers. they seem to come out easily enough to me.

I used a soldering iron to heat the pin. then quickly pulls the head with a set of plyers. the only prob i run into is the replacement wheels. i tried putting some on that i got off a rear axel, but i cant get the wheels to run stright. the car keeps pulling from one side to another. i dremmeled the body so they fit, but the friggin thing will not roll right. any segestions?

you took both wheels off the same axle?
if so did you either trim the spacer off the non gearside wheel or add a spacer to the gearside wheel?
other than that maybe your pins are wobbling loose i donno

i trimmed the spacer on the nonspur side and the two lil-pin looking spacers on the spur side and it still was being pain. what wheels do you all use when swapping?

i used a kit racer rear axle. so i used two rear kit wheels for my full size wheel mod. but i had to tear up two axles to get the two wheels with spacers then i just filed them down to size.

I imagine the hole for your axle shouldn't be too big either.
That could cause wobble.

Hammering the nails in OEM cars is a lot easier. Because of the lack of quality, the nails aren't secured as well. That's what I did, and I now have a full size wheel set. Only drawback is that the front wheels touch my Mazda RX-7 body making it swerve to the left.
