big motor, no clue

Okay, i have this big motor i got out of a small fan (about the length of a 180 but fatter and cylindrical) and i want to use it in my rally project. It has no numbers or identifying marks on it. However, i can't figure out if it will run in my car. I found that the current draw is about 1.4-1.5 amps on 6 volts at stall.
What i want to know is if the stock fets can handle it. I did a search for the max current load, and found some people say .7 amps, some said 1.4. i need a more definite answer.
Please respond if you have any tips for getting it to work on stock fets, if it can, or what it is. i have no pics yet, but i'll try to get some. Any help would be great. Thanks.
