I'll have to make a 3 link or 4 link suspension but I havnt decided on using some of the links as the springs also or just using coil springs and common links together.

yeah its nothing special until the chassis gets made for it then it will be AWSOME.(I'm sure it will look better than it performs-LOL)
I still need to make the T-case but I havnt decided on a few things, like should I have the chassis wrap around the T-case or be part of it and I need to work on the dual motor mount.
The chassis itself should be very easy to make, I just have to drill and cut some openings in an aluminum sheet and I should have a chassis that looks like a detailed (albeit square) tube frame.(simple)
here is something I had worked on years ago, it was a prototype chassis for a ZZ/bit.

Hmm, vertically mounted batteries.
That is thought-provoking to be sure!
Maybe I'll try to incorporate that idea into my articulation mod when I do it.
THAT'S why I love this site.
Thank you for posting those pics. It's stuff like that that keeps the mental gears turning. (pardon the pun.)

That chassis was designed before LI-po's were so popular but now I'd just plant to use Li-po's.(more power-less space=good)
I have a lot of idea's like a CF rod chassis with the front and rear suspension clamped onto the CF rods.It could be a simple adjustable wheelbase chassis if done right.
