Question Anybody tried this mod yet?

i was just wondering if anybody has tried to solder the wires from the lights connection on the zzse back to the motor for a extra bost? i thought of it and was wondering if anybody knows which connection is positive and negitive. thanks a lot!

ummmmmm..i was wondering if anybody tried to solder the wires from the light plug in to the engine to give it a boost. what r u talking about???????

Thanks bdnunchaku - yeah with the lights unplugged all power is going to the motor already so basically you won't gain any boost from soldering the wires. But feel free to try. Experimentation is what its all about

No problem. I would be extremely surprised if you received any additional power to the motor if you soldered the light wires directly to the motor.

If I wanted more power to the ZZSE, I would buy the $10 DC mod kit from codesuidae. From reviews, people described the acceleration on the trigger as being similar to a slot car trigger, after the mod. It's also proven to be significantly stronger than the mosfet mod. Some reported burning out motors with only a couple of runs!!! Too bad I don't own a ZZSE.
