Mini x Loose Front End
Hey, anybody have any ideas concerning the handling of the X. The front end configuration is loose in about three different ways: Wheel wobble, horizontal rim shifting and steering arm wobble. And the wheels without adjustment appear to be way out of alignment. The X is super unmanagable at high speed! I've put in the heavier springs. I've adjusted the camber to toe in. I've adjusted the camber to toe out. I've replaced the rear arms to the shorter type. Are there going to be any changes made to account for all this slop or hop ups offered or anything? I like the cars but the front end SLOP is terrible.
Thanks

Hollywood,
I have noticed when lots of adjustments are made the hub carriers get loose due to poping them on and off so may times. You may just need to replace them, also do you have bearings up front?

Holywood!
I'm curious about this Mini-x, and all I can do at the moment is learn from the experienses of guys like you.
The X is nowhere to be found in shops here in Scandinavia, and mailorder is not an option until I've actually SEEN the thing.
So tell me, have you had the X for long? And since you're complaining about wheel-slack, I assume you've fitted BALL BEARINGS?

The X is great! I can take some pics - what specifically would you like to see?

Yeah I've got a full set of bearings. The car runs great and is super fast with the 7.2 v pack but it's just a little squirrely (sp?) at full speed down the straightaway. Maybe I just want all the speed all the time.
Anyway, Thanks.
