[Pic] What ZZ PCB is this?
I just bought an original ZZ with a Camaro SS body. I was thinking about getting a Perfection 4.2 and I want to make sure my PCB supports the motor. This PCB does not look like the V1 & V2 pictures that are posted on this forum. Any ideas?

You have nothing to worry about, that is the new PCB. If it's the new Camaro SS, then it's definitely capable of handling the 4.2.

You will be fine running any motor currently available. It is about a version 4 or 5 if they are up to 5 yet.

Yeah i have one of those too i havent modified anything on my zz yet but i think ill start with the actofgod laymans battery mod before i throw in a 4.2 or any other engine stronger than the stock motor. So that pcb can handle any of those mods mentioned right?

I went to Radioshack and they let me salvage 2 batteries from broken cars on the counter. While I was there I bought a tuner kit with the Purple NX motor.
I wired up the dual batteries in series with solder tape and installed them in the car with the Purple NX motor. I had to flip the PCB in order to get the body back back on.
The car is now uncontrollably fast even with the stock blue gearing. If I try to turn while giving it power it flips over and goes flying. The car now will even run fast on carpet. I do not think I need a faster motor.

Good Grief.....
A yellow wire and a red wire on the PCB for the antenna means they are different FREQUENCIES....it does not alter the chip in any way, except that they run on a different signal.
