for u people with the questions about tha supra its my car and couldnt get the pics up(thnx miniDRIFTER)
1.no i didn't use 2 kits i bought 1 kit + 2 super white LEDs from RS
2.they dont noticably effect run time
3.I used 2 coats of testors acrylic model paint (gloss Black#921524)in an airbrush and 5 coats of Tamiya cc for the body, the same paint on a brush for the wheels, and testors acrylic enamel (flat black A46) for the hood (to give it that carbon fibre look)

Can I get a good paint job without airbrushing at all? Maybe just spraypainting with a good model paint? Any ideas on that. Also I have the lights it's the only thing I've done and it doesn't effect runnig time at all. LED tend to have low energy use I'm going to drop some extra leds this week. I painted the hood on the store demo black on the skyline cause I drew all over it in permenat marker and took it off with nail polish remover and the paint wore off after doing that too many times. I had some header cermaic paint for my real car and I used that to paint it. ITt came out really good cause the ceramic makes it look rigid. The store demo now has a black hood on a yellow skyline. Everyone hate the store demo cause the customer crash it and we drove it over the counter top too many times trying to drift with no rubber on the back. But we got another one in the back and an rsx today so I'm going to restore it and probably stop driving it off the counter, I'm so surprized that the only damge was to the side mirrors. sorry bout the long post I get carried away. I love my job. But yeah painting tips anyone pics of spray paint or anyway to get a cheaper airbrushing kit w/o a compressor?

i think wal-mart sells a $10 airbrush kit that uses a compressed air canister that comes with the kit. i "borrowed" my dads old airbrush for the car, but my friend painted his with the wall-mart kit and it looks great. the kit also comes with the black paint i used for mine.

Is that diecast or plastic? If its plastic and the right scale you may be able to mount that on an XMOD.
