If you get one of the hew cars like a X2 Mazda or Nisan 350Z then you might want the green because both come with the Red Performance motor.

Or you could do like I did and use them for dual motor mods. 
I actually used 2 blue motors and not only is the torque good enough to push my monster but it has a lil zip to it too, but that could also be from the tricell.

I don't understand, why would I want a slow green motor for those cars.

yeah i went to check out one of my local shacks on saturday and the one i went to was stocked. both my friend and i picked up the new booster kits and they had tons of 350z's.
