or you could just look at the documentation that came with it.. it will tell you all about the gear ratios and the motor speeds which are more likely faster than what you got in your clones!!!

some clones do overrate their motors. the kit motors if orange are a 2.6 otherwise i believe they are a 2.2. the gears are detailed in the little booklet or flyer that comes inside the package.

that battery is the same 50 mah that you get in the real bit or microsizer.

you should really read or check the rest of the posts because all of these answers are there.
however if you cant find them.. just post back here and i would be more than glad to help you out

You are abolutely right!
I'm sorry to have troubled you so.

I never bothered looking at the KIT Instructions! DOH!
I never cared about KIT racing, just the parts.

Cool Mods r us, er me. I like KIT mags!

I just completed a full size wheelset mod to my Cylona using the right rear wheels from two KIT racer rears.
These wheels are the ones with the longer spacer that is usually trimmed back when using a KIT rear in a bit or clone, and I was hoping it would keep the larger wheels from hitting the chassis when turning.

It worked, but with an interesting side effect:
The front wheels now have a wider stance than the rear wheels do.

I will probably just modify a rear to match the width. I've done more than half a dozen rear mods now, all successful.
It's current rear is just a stock MS gear on a KIT rear for the great mag wheels.

Well, I also tried to document this process as well, so here is my KIT racer ful size wheelset modification photo page.

I call the car "Orange Herbert", and would love to dye the knuckles and stabilus to match.

I will be putting a clear New Beetle body on it eventually (get it?), but for now I have to dremel out the clone WRX body I have.

I would be glad to hear what you think.

well to dye the knuckles all you have to do is get some rit cloths dye but it in some boiling water. then insert the plastic pieces you want to dye, into the boiling water for a minute or two. and vwalla. orange knuckles.

ADDENDUM (MORE STUFF!)
Make sure you click on "show all". There are 20 photos in all.

I went ahead and used some extra parts to create the built-out rear to match the wider stance of the front wheels.

I think it looks cool with the wheels all pushed out a little, and it still drives and handles perfectly. (Still have to mod the WRX body though)

Don't mean to drag this out. I didn't expect to come up with the idea.

I got pics tho!
