No, I 'm not going to paint anything else on this one, it is going to be run outside a lot. The chrome paint came from Wal Mart....in the house paint section. It is made by Krylon, called original chrome. Whatever you do, don't apply clear to it afterwards, it will actually make the paint dull and grey looking.

BC, you should make dual exhaust for your civic. Especially wit that rear bumper, since there are 2 openings

Question?

Doesn't the front rub on the wheel well when it turns? I lowered mine and it rubs so bad it stops the wheel. I had no choice but to raise it. Its still lower than stock but its still pretty high.

Oh yeah, did you dremel the back mount so it sat lower? or did you do somehting else?

I used the Skyline front tab and removed some of the support that the rear tab mounts to. The only time it rubs in the front is when I take a hard, fast turn and lean on the suspension. I have soft springs now, I'm going to try the hard and see how it does.

You can always dremel out the front fender enough, just like we do with the Zips.

Cool thanx

I'll try it out and see what happens.. I might have to make a custom front mount. The dremeling thing scares me. It might thin out the too much but i'll try it anyway.. I'm just woried about it going all the way through.

Thanx Angelo.

You shouldn't have to worry about going too far. There is plenty of plastic above the front fenders, all you would do is shave away a little at the top to clear for the tires.

many an age ago, i was taught a good tip on evenly sanding out the wheel wells in a ZZ, and i think they still stand for XMs. Take a shishkabob stick (ya know those wooden barbecue poker things) or something similar, and wrap a piece of sandpaper around the stick, and adhere it with tape or something. then, place the stick against the wheel wells, and begin sanding. this way, if you apply your pressure evenly enough, anything you do to one side will happen to the other because the other side is being rubbed w/ sandpaper also.
