Tomica Limited : Problems !

Hi,

I got a couple of Limited ...
As stated by somebody else already, this car is mainly good for collection! The Yokomo is far better !

BTW. Both my two controllers are not able to charge my cars !
When I plug in my car (switched off) I can see just a fast flash in the red led, and that's it ... no charging !

Is there any tricky for charge the car ?

Danke

Both, Car and Controler must be switched off for loading.

I had a few dragster races with my proportional and ****ed off all others - zipzap, bitchar.

Stearing motor is now 2.2 the bigger ones (i tried 3.0 and 3.8) are to fast and make problems with stearing.my car now completely has mosfets that make te accelaration a lot better and more powerful. For highspeed 3.8 Motor as i already said and now also the fastes BiitcharG gearset

I also tried a propo with a 3.6V Lipo batterie and standard motor but didn't liked it - you cant go slow - speed is no more so good adjustable while top speed also cant reach my one

The yokomo has even better stearing and goes really silent and smooth. but its not that modable and its ugly the electronic in the yoco is high and you cant put a lower body on the chasis. it will always look like a mini van --> family car.

Is the faster steering responsive, or does it have a delay in it?

These cars are like 45-50 bucks right? The place I ordered my Yokomo last week sold me a silver Honda Fit pooch for $59.95. I don't really think the Fit is ugly, not as ugly as the Tomica cars, anyway. And for the extra 9.95 or so, you can get much better performance by the sounds of it.

It look to me that the steering is slow due to a slow "servo", not for a delay.

I have open my car yesterday ... and:

Who said that is possible to put a 3.8 motor for replace the main motor ? This is 100% false, the main motor is far bigger then a standard bit motor !

Apparently the steering motor look the same as a bit motor, but it use wires. It is very difficult to rebuld the steering system after have hopen it ...

For improve performance, I guess the best approach is just replace the 2x1.2Vx120mAh=2.4Vx120mAh with 6x1.2Vx40mAh=3.6Vx80mAh .

PS where is possible to found a plastic body for the Limitied ?

P.S: In overal I guess thet the best smallest full proportional car is till the Epoch ... and the best smallest car is till the Bit Booster !
